Convert 35mm cameras to digital

Not sure if this is a fool but CBA to check it out, so tired.

Possibly a joke, BUT about 12 years ago there was something like this which almost came to market. It was very much like that, but connected via SCSI. I was keen on it as it would have let me convert my SLR to digital.

I still hope that something like this does appear.

You can do this with the high end Hasselblads. You can replace the film backs with a full frame digital backs but you need a big pile of money.
