Did anyone catch the brief (15 minutes) tribute on CBBC last night (between Doctor Who and Confidential).
Obviously they'd had to cobble it together pretty quickly to get it out in time for the first Who of the new series and there was a heavy focus on TSJA and it's target audience (not surprising given the channel it was on). It was pretty good all things considered although they could still do another one if they managed to get hold of contemporaries from her original time in the Who universe.

It was good. Other half was impressed by Barney Harwood's contribution - but the BBC seems hot on such things on kid's TV right now.

Lis Sladen did a lot out of her Dr Who universe occupying antics - mostly in the theatre.

I, too,am hoping the BBC can put together a better obituary that covers her career more thoroughly for the older viewers.

I couldn't help thinking that I'm glad a new generation of children met Sarah Jane though. That was some clever work by RTD.
