To be honest it could be anyone who did it from a drunk to bored kids to other homeless or drug users. I was reading yesterday that the solving of murders is significantly worse than it was in seventies or eighties. The fact that it has not been reported is symptomatic of our society. It ignores the fact that most people are only a few months from being in the same boat if their circumstances change.

We had the cremation service today. His family were there including his mother; that sure as hell made things, erm, difficult. Nonetheless it was a lovely service and made easier by the notion that Les is sure as hell better off out of it.

I hate those bloody things. Luckily there's nothing shameful about tears.

I too hate funerals.

There's absolutely nothing shameful about tears. Real men cry.

I find I laugh a lot at funerals.
At my Grandad's, the vicar was talking about his three grandchildren.
He said "Christina the medical student". I heard it as "Christina the mental student".
That was me in fits of giggles trying to keep quiet..... and failing miserably.
