It means it's down to the good will of the shop.

Clean it up, take it back and explain nicely that it doesn't suit you. If you're lucky, they'll take it back.

Worst that can happen is they say "on your bike".

Don’t expect them to give you all your money back either. Much like cars, bikes depreciate quit a bit the moment they leave the shop.
