hard drive died so I got a new one and reformatted and put xp pro on again and SP2 and I think all drivers, for some reason I Cant get the sound to work atall, I installed sound drivers from motherboard disc and the realtek HD audio manager thing, I use headset and IIRC I had the same problem ages ago and you had to go in some weird options but ive clean forgotten anyone any clue? another problem is that it doesnt seem to be downloading any updates as it usually wants to download service pack 3 when it isin't
