I think it would probably be aluminium.

I'd rather wait for the Samsung Galaxy Card. You'll be able to use it in any shop you like, (as opposed to the iCard which I'm sure you can only use in Apple approved stores) and it will probably be a couple of inches bigger, and therefore better than the iCard Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

+1. I envision it being a NFC compatible card made out of a thin sheet of aluminum but with a brushed effect and an etched apple logo.

Ha! I actually went to the site and that cached the image. For some reason it wasn't loading when just looking at X404. Weird.
UPDATE : It's gone again!
Pity they did it now, it would make an excellent April fool.

You do realise credit cards are a standard size for a reason, right? And one that wasn't the same size as every single other credit/debit card in existence would have some significant drawbacks, yes? I mean, I understand the point, but you're suggesting a Samsung Galaxy Card that would actually be next to useless, so it doesn't really work.

I think that they might have an anti link command somewhere on the site. Anyway you can see the terms of the deal on the site. It actually looks like a very good deal. Low interest rates compared to most banks and if it linked in with the passbook app it could be very handy. Personally if I were offered a card on those terms I would take one out.

I already have a credit card, why would I want another?
Although the German cards are directly linked to your bank account and paid in full at the end of the month (as I have said before).

Now how are we going to save the Euro with an attitude like that Quite a lot of British people do that too, although it's optional rather than enforced. The UK banks hate them... RE: the terms; they are pretty generous. If there actually was going to be an Apple brand CC, I suspect it would not be quite so friendly. 10% APR for a start...pffft.

Come off its its Apple - when have they gone down the "Pile it high sell it cheap" option - their APR will refect their premium brand so I expect a 45% APR -

No,no. Standard credit car APR with a monthly membership fee. That way even the people who pay off the card every month are profitable.

Yes but Apple have more than $100 billion in cash sitting in accounts earning next to nothing, so lending it to customers and getting 10% is so much better for Apple.
