Twitter tuning into TV makes us want to tune out of Twitter

Errr... Neither. I just don't follow people who are likely to gibber on about reality TV dross. That article seems to be labouring under a fundamental misunderstanding about how twitter works.

I avoid Twitter when the mighty Spurs are playing. I watch the highlights on MOTD so don't want any spoilers.

It seems like Tv cannot maintain your attention to actually watch it uninterrupted.
