Well all I know is I landed at 4pm and was so pissed by 9pm we were in the take-away getting a selection of food  _________________Still the official cheeky one

35ml singles are the norm around here, a long way from the border! I usually order doubles anyway.
I had a shock ordering a single brandy when I visited a friend in Oxford. I thought they'd left me a dirty glass.

Went for an interview yesterday.
Part of it they asked me to show a code sample.
I showed them a whole group of classes working together as part of the "sync" process for the app.
Not using any frameworks. It was multi-threaded, concurrent networking, core-data updates, etc...
At the end, the CEO of the company said something like "If we don't offer you the job it will be down to the lack of technical knowledge".
WTF?! This is from a company where the "technical" guy in at the interview said "I always use AFNetworking [a third party framework] for the apps, I wouldn't go near NSURLConnection".
I told the recruiter that I wasn't interested before I heard anything back from them.

Well... been offered a job dahn in that there Lahndahn Tahn.
I haven't accepted yet as I haven't got many details about it other than it's an iOS developer role.
Going down next week some time to meet them and find out more etc...
