Which keyboard do you use on your smartphone?
I was taking the youngest daughter back home to her flat on Monday and she spent the whole journey chatting with friends. I was surprised that she had changed from the normal QWERTY layout to T9 on her smartphone.
With so many alternatives, like Kii, Swype etc. which one do you use?

Android default, although I'd love to know if there's a better one. It can't keep up with my typing speed sometimes, leading to gibberish as the autocorrect is changing a word I finished typing 3 words earlier. It also has a mind of it's own when trying to edit.
I was talking about the younger generation and T9 to my neighbour recently. If you grew up with it, it's capable of incredible speed.

I voted Apple Pie as I don't want to be put in the same group as Android

+1 - I recall how quick it was to adapt and learn words etc I just use the qwerty keyboard although as per JJW009, I do run into issues because I type faster than the smartphone can detect. This problem has been worse since the upgrade to iOS7.

I use Swype, the new google keyboard is good with the swipe input but Swype has a decent library of what I text to the point that I can write most sentences just by writing half of it

I use the default WP8 keyboard and find it to be pretty reasonable. Is there a T9 keyboard on WP8? I suspect I would be able to type much faster if there was.

There seem to be a couple of apps that give you T9 keyboards.

Indeed there are but as far as I can tell they all cost money and I object to paying for something that should be built into the OS. I'm sure I've seen somewhere that the version of WP8 in the Chinese market actually do have some sort of t9 keyboard as part of the OS so it's not like they'd have to extend much effort to extend it to the rest of the world.

Standard Droid - I've tried loads and I can still type quicker with it. Mind you, I mostly use the physical keyboard anyway, especially with WhatsApp.
