That is also why you should turn on revoked certificate checking, stupid though that Mozilla seem to have removed the checking a couple of versions ago!

I that different from the "Use the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) to confirm current validity of certificates" setting?

Same thing, by the sound of it. "OCSP require" is the setting that needs to be enabled.

When I checked for certificate revocation checking, I landed on a page in the Mozilla forums saying it had been removed in version 24. The admins didn't say anything about a different setting... :?

LastPass Now Checks If Your Sites Are Affected by Heartbleed and recommends action

Quote:
To help our users take action and protect themselves in the wake of Heartbleed, we've added a feature to our Security Check tool. LastPass users can now run the LastPass Security Check to automatically see if any of their stored sites and services were 1) Affected by Heartbleed, and 2) Should update their passwords for those accounts at this time.

Be warned checking sites in the UK could be in contravention of the RIPA law and checking USA based servers breaks their equivalent law, the same goes for much of Europe, if the test uses the exploit.

I'm guessing those doors have since been slammed shut.

In 30 years from now we'll find out all this was GCHQ's fault.
