Can you feel the beat?

I struggle to find beats in songs (probably why I listen to industrial  )
Anyone here experience the same?

Me too. I also listen to industrial music, perhaps a theme is emerging.

Let's you and me go to Guantanamo and help with the "enhanced interrogations"

Perhaps so. Let's widen the net, people often think I am homosexual until they see me dance.

I did a dance course and it was very difficult with many songs to find the beat. I can now hear the beat in many songs, but more complex types, such as salsa, samba etc. Are still difficult. Waltz, Discofox and tango aren't too hard.

You'd be hard-pushed to hear the beat in the top 40 these days - that's some bland noise right there.

The only top 40 song I've listened to in months is Get Lucky.

How can a bass player (or someone that plays bass) be beat deaf?
You're partially responsible for laying down the beat.

Anyway, no I'm not beat deaf. Which is nice. (8+)
