If they keep that up people will ditch them and/or find other providers. There always comes a point where people realise they're still paying but haven't really been watching. And a lot of the stuff on Netflix is mainstream Marmite.

I think for what they offer it's still very reasonable. Netflix is incredibly popular so I don't think they have anything to worry about.

Currently it is, but it won't be at the rate they're going. I know of quite a few people who killed it for Prime or Now, usually because they preferred the films. Others kept it because their kids like the cartoons. I'm only keeping it going cos I'm 'on a deal' ;)

95€ a year isn't that much, compared to Sky, for example, but it is more expensive than Prime.

I use Prime, but mainly because I was a Prime subscriber before Prime Video came along and I order enough from Amazon that Prime makes sense and my wife reads a lot, so the getting 1 book a month on loan was a good deal, the video is just an adjunct, although since we bought the FireTV we have used the service a lot.

In Germany Netflix is competing against Maxdome, which has built up its customer base for streaming over nearly 15 years, so Netflix is the outsider here. I don't know anyone who has Netflix, Prime seems to be popular at work.
