Someone I know in Chelmsford, who is a guitarist and teacher, has had a load of his gear stolen. Here’s what he posted on FaceBook:

Black Kona Caldera mountain bike with hydraulic disc breaks.

Obviously, this is Chlemsford and wider Essex, but you never know how far these things may travel.

If anyone gets offered a cheap guitar that sounds like it may fit any of the descriptions above, then let him know.

As he done a Fb post or blog that can be reshared?
Also there's a couple of specialist forums online where you can register stolen property.

The good news is that 12 of the guitars have been recovered (they turned up at a pawn brokers in London- now that the Chelmsford police station), and there is also CCTV footage of the van used near his home, so hopefully more will be found.
