Not particularly, but I didn't dislike it either, it was just sort of on and I was watching it. I chuckled mildly on two ocassions, when Cameron pretends to be a policeman in the restaurant and when the Star Wars music plays before you see the Ferrari. In terms of that style of film I much preferred Road Trip.

See, now I can bring to mind just about the entirety of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, yet I struggle to recall anything of Road Trip, although I know I've seen it. Oh wait, there was a skinny white guy sleeping with a much larger black woman, wasn't there? And a car jump over a knackered bridge?

Yes it borrows heavily from Ferris Bueller i now realise, especially in the optimistic coming of age and future opportunities tone, I think crucially I saw Road Trip for the first time when I was 15

Love Bueller, but I've never seen Breakfast Club in it's entirety, or Planes, Trains And Automobiles He did a brilliant job on the first two Home Alones though

I'll be watching Breakfast Club next, Uncle Buck is my favourite, followed closely by Planes Trains and Automobiles. John Candy.

Uncle Buck is a great film! Breakfast Club too. Oh, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off....but mainly because of Mia Sara

She was great Could do with a better agent these days though, possibly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mia_SaraA pic from recent years, she's now involved with Jim Henson's son apparently (no idea if this is him or not):

Sky Modern Greats had a tribute on last night. Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day off. Didn't bother watching them as I've got them on DVD anyway. Tell a lie, I watched the last 15 minutes of Breakfast Club while my wife was doing the washing up.
My favourite John Hughes film is Weird Science, though I expect I'll be in the minority over that one.
