I haven't voted, but it needs an option for "I already have a PS3/blu-ray player"

I've got 3 bluray players but voted pie as there wasn't an option for I've got one already.

No. 1. No money 2. No HDTV and no real desire at the moment to own one even if I did have the money given how little I use the TV I have. 3. The discs are still to expensive. 4. DRM 5. Never in the end bought many DVD's so not in a hurry to buy discs on that level either. Much more likely in practice to use a rental service like LoveFilm until broadband speed and services allow downloading - provided the price is right.

I deliberately left the option out, as I was thinking along the lines of a player for the bed or kids' room

But then it (the poll results) doesn't look bad for blu-ray, as you say, it just looks bad for the cheap additional players!

This is the problem with forums, the poster knows what he means, but things get lost in translation I was sort of leaving it as any BR player for £50, since I was thinking along the lines of cheapness without getting into specifics
