So, people happy with the draw?

England
USA
Algeria
Slovenia

I think a certain shrewd Italian will be a very happy bunny. :D

All the other Groups on The Telegraph site clicky

Very much so. If we don't get three wins there, there's something wrong.

Well the USA could be a problem as they've beaten Spain this year, but we should qualify from the group.

To be fair most teams could be a problem to any other team at this stage although England should have the measure of their group, injuries and acclimatisation provided.

I prefer the USA over teams like Denmark and Switzerland who can just sit back, shut up shop, and then get a freak goal.

In the same tournament - which took place in South Africa, note - they were 2-0 up against Brazil at one point as well. I think if I was England I'd settle for 'draw that one, win the other two, see how it goes with goal difference'.

I'm pleased it's taking place. For a fortnight next summer, I should be able to get onto the CPC Counterstrike server without having to wait for a slot to open up. With any luck, a load of the other players will be off watching footy :)
