Ah that explains it. i bought some karrimor shoes a couple of month ago and they were crap. i was surprised as their kit was always good in the past. ohwell.

I hope the drop in quality hasn't spread to their rucksacks. I've bought them religiously for decades as their quality was second to none.

fraid it has lev, i still have one from 10 years ago though, i think that's why they went out of business, they made them so well, their fans didn't have to buy another one... berghaus appear to make decent bags now though.

it has  mother bought me one for new school term, its really flimsy. its only gotta last a year, but my brothers DC bag is so much better made

I still have a Vango rucksack that I bought in school to do the Duke Of Ed. awards with. It's lasted surprisingly well. Got it at cost from a friend of a friend who worked at the factory.

I got a smallish green Karrimor rucksack at the start of year 9. It was still going strong after carrying books etc on a daily basis at the end of my third year of uni.

I got some Karrimor shoes on the basis that I thought they were good quality. They weren't.

I've got a karrimor day sack that I take snowboarding. I must have fallen on it hundreds of times and it looks brand new. Not even a bit of stitching has come undone.
