In celebration of RATM winning my band are covering Killing in the name tonight. We haven't ever practiced it so it should be fun (although it'd sound a million times better than the other crap in the charts)

I will be waiting with expectation for the video to be uploaded to youtube and the link posted here :D

I'll see if I can get someone to film it for you.

Hate? Too strong a word, I'm not really bothered about the X-Factor as I saw they turned the auditions into Britain's Got Talent and switched off and didn't watch another minute, the show wouldn't get half the stick it does if they had an original song every year and not just Shayne Ward's - all the others came from either good old Phil Collins, or American Idol, and now this one from a Disney artist.

I never owned the Rage Song and can't even remember if "Wake Up" is on the Matrix soundtrack that I bought, even though it's on the credits. So I bought one for iTunes and downloaded another non-DRM from Play when rounding up something to the nearest £1 for the points, but more importantly gave to Shelter on the justgiving page. Maybe the people that gave £50 and £100 didn't bother with either song, but at nearly 90 grand and counting, Shelter certainly wins.
