Elin Woods has finally spoken out after her split from Tiger and says she never suspected anything.

Quote: 'I never suspected, not a one. For the last three-and-a-half years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school.'

As a woman I find this very hard to believe as no man is good enough to cover all the signs although having kids would certainly keep you busy enough not to care!

What do you think?

It's alright. Auntie Heather has tidied up. No-one will never know...

As to the topic, who cares? I don't. :|

Silly Auntie Heather! I'd just prepared a nice long rant about the significance of this in the other thread, and then it went bang!

Met all men have you?

I lie very rarely but if I wanted to I could with impunity. I know very few people, male or female, that are good enough at spotting lies to catch me out.

No of course I don't, do you? I know the signs of when a man is playing away. My father was a serial cheater so I have good knowledge. It's not just about lying it's about hiding smells, phone calls, emails etc etc.

Considering he was anything but careful, I'd be amazed if she didn't know.

At a guess, it got thrown in her face when it used to be kept on the QT...

Also, entire sections of the American press knew for years and didn't say anything (they had pretty much caught him in the act and blackmailed him into giving an exclusive interview for a fitness mag IIRC, he had consciously avoided them until then for obvious reasons). After they had got what they wanted he probably thought he was free to do whatever he liked under their agreement I spose :?

People see what they want to see and don't see what they don't want to see. Call me cynical, but the lifestyle and wealth she was living would be a hefty pair of blinkers to an awful lot of people.

I've been thinking the same thing. Look at what the footballers get up to and the wives and gfs put up with it.

Course she is. He's not really in much of a position to complain frankly. Unless she actually did assault him with a golf club & cause his car to crash, in which case the divorce case is going to be a whole lot more interesting. As it is if she's given custody of the children - which given an international golfer's itinerant lifestyle is actually pretty likely - there's going to be a whopping maintenance order either way.

Mind you, he's not short of a bob. He could probably give her several billion and still have enough to buy a caribbean island when he retires.

Yes but even if she did club him with the 7 iron do you honestly think that a jury would not say that it was deserved?
