Compared to football, that's actually really reasonable.

I think the ones for St James Park in Newcastle weren't too bad, about the same price as a normal game FWIW

Interestingly for the All Blacks vs Tonga there are no longer any class D (cheap) tickets available on it for some reason, shame really but was going to go for the Scotland tickets anyway (South Africa then Samoa) £50 for the cheap seats or £75 (85 for the South Africa game) for the better ones isn't bad all things considered

315 GBP is the cheapest seat to the final? Bloody hell that's gouging!

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Cheapest for the world cup this year was $440 + taxes so not really. That said it's London prices

Rugby is not football, Typically prices are much lower. It's not uncommon to go see European cup games for about £30pp. I have seen several European cup finals with seats on the front row for £35 each.

They are typically, but this is a world event so comparing it to another world event, I've been to see league games for £5/10 a ticket, but this is the world level, and 6 nations when I've looked to go have been £50pp+ from memory.

It's a free market, want to keep some of the riff-raff out ;)

It's a free market as long as it isn't subsidised by the tax payer.
