Imagine you were digging in your local park and unearthed the USS Enterprise. (C'mon! I said imagine!)
You step inside to find it is completely deserted but after a few minutes tinkering you manage to get the warp core going and you find that all systems are still functioning!
WooHoo!
Now, you are obviously going to be the captain, but you have to select your crew. Friends and living famous people are all allowed, no fictional characters.
Who would you choose?
The roles you have to fill are...
Captain: Yourself, obviously. First Officer (Riker): Security (Worf): Engineering (LaForge): Science Officer (Data): Medical Officer (no EMH allowed) (Crusher): Navigation (Seven? - Voyager): Comms (Uhura - Original series): Helmsman (Wesley Crusher): Transporter Chief (O'Brien): Ship's Counsellor (Troi): Chef (Neelix - Voyager):
So...
Who would you take?

Although I'm tempted to put Mrs. V's name next to all of the posts, as she claims she has to do everything, I'll go with... | | | | Fogmeister wrote: Captain: Yourself, obviously. As you can probably tell, I didn't take this too seriously

Surely it depends which Enterprise it is. If it's the TNG era one then you don't have a comms officer (for some bizzare reason the tactical office does that job). Plus, if you have enough anti-matter and dilithium kicking around you don't need a chef either. Plus anything from Voyager era onwards will have an integral EMH, possibly the mark 2 (Andy Dick ). If the EMH is knackered then so are large parts of the ships computer.

LOL, OK I'll let you use the replicators instead of a chef. And lets call it Tactical/comms then You're quite right though The ship I was thinking of was the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-d Galaxy-class if that clears things up So Replicators are good but EMH is a no-no.

It must also be post season one as Tasha Yar was security officer before Worf got his promotion. Mark

But what if you need to diagnose something tricky? It could be lupus!

Hmm, GH could be second in command or even joint officer. Good call Edd. Again.

I'm still pondering my choices. Maybe tonight. And then editted lots for the next twenty years.

Scrap that. No fictional characters. Can I take Hugh Laurie instead?

His dad was an Olympic-gold-medal-winning Dr, and he must have picked some stuff up from working on House. And he's damn funny!
