I met a guy called Simon at a stag do on Saturday/Sunday and got pretty wasted with him and chatted a lot about stuff! A fellow tech geek! No doubt he will be happy for me that my iphone arrives tomorrow lol. 32 gb 3Gs jobby, which should work well with my 17" macbook pro 3.06 gb dual 500gb hd with all the bits and pieces... Niiiice I have an old vista dual 3.2 3 tb raided hd networked to my mac mini (i use the tv as a monitor for this and it's my media center, attached to an audiolab 2000s amp and B&W series 1 speakers... don't have a graphic or cd player or dvd player, the mac mini is all i need) and the mac pro mostly wifi's into everything, including the 4tb wd nas. It needs a bit of work networking wise and i have a 1000000 gb switch that i haven't got working yet... This geezer Simon said i should join this forum and he'd sort it, bless him. What a thoroughly nice bloke Does anyone know what a Nokia N95 8 gb goes for on eBay? I've looked but can't find one.... i dunno, it must be worth a quid or 2... surely? Well me wife Jo is cooking me half a duck for dinner tonight and the hunger pangs are starting... Why she didn't kill dorothy the duck quietly i'll never know, quacking and running around... What with the recession family pets for dinner is now an option... my cat is looking at me with killer eyes. gotta go.... OUCH! TTFN Shinless (AKA Tony)

Hello and welcome to the madness. (8+) Watch out for a user called Brataccas, he'll probably ask you if you're normal. Or eccentric. Or something … (8+)

In fairness I'd have to question the "normalness" or eccentricity of anyone who, in their first post in a forum, talks about eating the family pets You will come to realise that we are a friendly, if somewhat strange colection of folks here, so welcome to the forums

Well we couldn't get him to stop talking for some reason when our favourite music was on but other than that he proved to me that i'm not alone in my love of techness As i said a thoroughly good bloke who talks tech and spec like the pro he is. Me? A mere amateur compared to this knowledgeable bloke. Mind you, is it really necessary to talk in numbers? Specs i get but my memory doesn't do multiple numbers lol. I'm hoping he'll be at the PCB's gig next saturday... a cool name for a band on this forum no doubt lmao. gotta go, me dinner is about done and i have a sauce to tend. Duck stock, tarragon, plum chutney, seasoned and good to go, mostly. Nice ta meet ya dude, i'll be back laters. TTFN

N95? Wasn't that one on the iPhone killers in the early days. Gav had one and was raving about it back in the day. This site http://www.mobilephonexchange.co.uk/ is giving up to £99 in store vouchers or £86 in cash. Sorry, no idea about Ebay. CCP.s. Welcome to X404
