Broke the wallet thing my oyster card lives in.
Swapped it over to a new one and found a fiver I'd stashed there weeks ago

We had a company meeting today where the MD had a rant at us all for being lazy, inefficient and not getting things done.

The company majority shareholder rang me at my house this evening to say that what the MD said had to be said to everybody so as not to show people up, that it doesn't apply to me at all, that everyone in management sees my hard work, commitment and results and that, on behalf of the MD and all the shareholders, he wanted to say "thank you".

Flabbergasted :shock: :oops: :mrgreen:

I've had similar calls/meeting with management, although they usually forewarn me, that they are about to say something like that, but that it doesn't apply to me. It is a great feeling. Hope you had a relaxing evening with you other half after that.
