Amazon is reportedly turning to special cases to help slim down the new Kindle | TechRadar
http://www.techradar.com/news/mobile-co ... le-1318425

I'd be hard pushed to justify a new Kindle after the Voyage, the battery life without a case would need to be stellar. I don't really understand why people bought flip cases over a sleeve - all it does is add to the weight and awkwardness when holding it. You're not likely to sell it so the back protection doesn't matter unless you're in a dodgy environment for it or an idiot, the screen isn't protected once it's open anyway (plus the Voyage has Gorilla Glass), and a sleeve is just much cheaper and you can likely pick a design. It's not like Kindles are bargains to start with.

Be interesting to see if they'd make it through airport security after the recent blunders.

Yeah, I wouldn't like to bet on that.

I'd absolutely bet they're encrypted. The question is who has access to the keys to decrypt them. Interesting wording y'see.

I never liked the Funko line at the beginning and there's still some quality issues, but those look great!

Interesting. I still use film cameras, so I still have the “has it worked” moments.
