I've used the lull to order myself an iPhone 4. Only issue now is that I have to upgrade my work Mac to Leopard which will cause issues with my Classic apps and I'm not sure my home mac will run leopard.

Piece of piss. Although she keeps badgering me for a flatscreen telly and I keep insisting I can't afford it. Best solution would be to upgrade my work mac to a Mac Pro and take my G5 home. Has the double benefit that I can use it to watch telly in the bedroom as my G4 isn't fast enough to decode the signal. Having said all that, I was hoping to get a dual 1.8GHz G4 upgrade as I love keeping old kit going, but I'm always outbid on ebay and new ones are about 400 quid.

Yeah, I've been umming and aahing for the stupid reason that I've been with T-Mobile since 1997 and I didn't want to change, but they didn't offer the iPhone. Now they do and it's not much more than my current contract, so I finally did it. All prompted by a cold call that offered me some £60 a month deal on 02 that I didn't want. All the same it made me look into it and as I've always wanted one and it'll cost me the same as I've saved in petrol this month by being unable to drive, I figured why not.
