There's a Dave Gibbons Doctor Who trade paperback: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctor-Who-Dave ... 267&sr=8-4Though I'd advise buying it elsewhere, Amazon's stock's shocking sometimes!

Well the end on this was rubbish! the concept was really good but really should have been a double episode to have a good ending :S

I'd did feel a little bit like "great story, shame about the ending" didn't it? I hope we haven't seen the end of the black boxes, like you say, great concept. Mark

Did you notice it was all told in flashback? The whole 'power of three' thing was old hat to me, as I watched every episode of Charmed so I couldn't get that out of my head for this episode. Mark

I saw that a lot of it was flashbacks. Also, Rory's dad is quite awesome I don't want Doctor Who to be as cheesy as Charmed

As much as I enjoyed Charmed, it would certainly be a turn for the worse if Doctor Who started becoming like it. Mark

I was convinced it was going to be a double episode. The doctor was so intent on saving everyone, but did nothing about the unconscious people on the spaceship? On the plus side, the angels are coming back. They freak me out. Although, they mentioned the original purpose of the angels again as sending people back in time and feeding of the resultant time energy. That happened the first time we encountered them - the Tennant episode with the DVD extras one-sided conversation - but in the more recent one with the 'soldiers of the church', they were killing people.

Again we are reminded that not all companions have a happy ending. Some leave, some get left behind, some die. We are being nicely reminded of the Doctor’s problems, and the darkness that follows him.
And we do need a Lethbridge-Stewart in charge of UNIT.

This. I loved the Angels the first time, but the second time they rather ruined them. Previously they had been rare and unusual and.. clever. Second time they were far too 'standard monster'. Especially when the writers decided they actually could move when they were being looked at, as long as they did it fairly slowly.
