Haven't you watched any war films? They usually take 4 or 6 men to man handle them into the tubes...
A lot of museums have them on display as well, usually as cut outs, so you can see how they work internally.

Didn't that happen to a Danish one that failed rather more spectacularly? There's footage of it out there somewhere. Update : The Danish footage is impressive, but this one in Scotland is more so.
