I'm not sure. Some cars can do yellow, but they tend to be exotica rather than mundane. However, in this case, I think it just about carries it off, particularly with the black stripes. However, I think if I had one it would have to be in black.

I believe Russ - the Ross-alike character from Friends - can clear this up for you two

I believe that fictional character is wrong and should make penance for his FAIL.

A BIG FAIL for being able to quote Friends. :P

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

It was nothing to do with the colour. It was everything to do with trying to imitate a classic in a modern style. Same applies to the Mustang. :x

It's more that they stuck with 8 cylinders and didn't go to smaller 6- or 4-cylinder engines, but I guess that would have cost too much in development. Does seem a bit potty to be dumping fuel into eight cylinders when only half of them were really needed. Still want one though - this looks nice.

The yanks built loads of cars with 6 and 4 pot engines. The entry level model of the one I've just bought came with 4 or 6 pots.
The infamous Corvair has a flat 6 in the back.
We get stuck with the idea that 'all yank cars are V8s' because all the popular yank cars are V8s. ;)

That looks lush. The only thing I can flaw is the tyres. Goodyear were a nightmare for me last time I ran on them. Moved to Firestone and haven't looked back. :-D

Goodyears appeared to have a bit more grip in a straight line, so I got less wheelspin and the front end locked up under breaking less, but the general road-holding ability was awful. Understeer was order of the day. Maybe Goodyear on the back, Firestone on the front..? :-)

All the tyres have loads of tread left, so I have no immediate plans to swap them for anything else.
There's some body work that needs attention ASAP, and that's the first thing on the list!

To be honest I was just nitpicking. ;-)

Day-to-day use Goodyears are fine. I live in Wales so day-to-day driving doesn't really happen since I won't really use it inside Aber. :-)
