Bloody handy in humid-ass Belfast, especially today.

A two year old MBP from CEX. Cost me around £800, and it seems pretty robust and runs all the software I need. Replaces a much older model which really isn’t capable of keeping up, being stuck on 10.7.5.

Also, the new one runs Elite Dangerous.

A new toaster for the office that seems OK for our purposes (it's certainly a waste of time putting it on settings 1-3 ), needs a bit more experimentation so that nobody sets off the smoke alarm...

As a throwaway gesture, I ordered what I thought would be a nice gift for a girl in work to give to her girlfriend (pop art Wonder Woman figure since she's a fan, natch) and told her about it. Not so much as a fake thank you. Or anything. I'm glad it wasn't that expensive, and it'll be the last fcuking anything she gets from me. Now, in case you're thinking I was a bit too brazen about the whole lesbian thing, there isn't a day where that doesn't come up, and she's got a rainbow flag on her desk

Awesome, though there's some nonsense about being able to flick the figures from a provided stand, and the missiles on the Hulkbuster actually fire... not a good thing in my office.

ION, Milky Way Stars hot chocolate isn't bad once you ignore the instructions.

A ticket to MI:4 worked out quite well, as did a trip to Forbidden Planet. Got two of these for a tenner total (for selling later)

Looks much better IRL. Thing is, one of them has a larger dome than the other, so I'm gonna investigate that and see if that's useful if selling.

A couple of these (Nightstorm Predator) for selling down the line as it's getting to be quite a rare figure these days...



Also got some more figure stands to go with my growing collection of such figures.

I needed a new lens to replace a broken one. It's a Pentax 16-85. I also accidentally bought the K3II body the lens is attached to!
