Strange. I was just thinking it's nearly time for a coffee...

I like eccentric coffee. Is that normal?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I'm trying to train our cats to eat coffee beans, but I don't think it'll taste as good as proper civet poo coffee.

I've tried it. Tasted less like crap than I expected, and more like vomit. I guess the beans absorb some of the digestive juices, and that's the "bonus" flavour.

I thought it tasted superb. Wouldn't say no to a cup right now in fact, if anyone's offering?

How worried should I be over an ovarian cyst the size of a small melon. Not mine, obviously.

Anything bigger than 4-5cm can rupture or twist on itself. Either way, sounds like they'd need surgery sooner rather than later. If there are risk factors, need to exclude malignancy.

Ta for that. Aye, mum's off in at the end of May, non-cancerous apparently. Although I thought they could only tell for sure once it had been removed..???... Mind you the whole lady gubbins is going, to be on the safe side. Just a bit over worried I think as it's only 1 and a half years since my dad went. I didn't realise how common they were TBH, not this size, but common nonetheless.

Cysts are common. Big ones not so. Malignancy can't be ruled out until tissue samples are analysed by pathology. TBH the benefits of surgery far outweigh the risks of no surgery so good luck to her when she gets it chopped out. Be careful where you go reading things. If you want to look anything up, go to www.patient.co.uk - it's the only website I recommend for patients. They've got information leaflets for various things, so always useful to print out and give to patients. ION, wish me luck for my exams tomorrow. I know it's a holy day for some of you!

Thanks for that. It's my mum that's been checking google rather than the nhs website, luckily she knows someone at work who's been through the same thing and has stopped searching and spoken to them. She obviously only found horror stories. Thanks for the link, and good luck with your exams tomorrow.

I've had knee Mk II for 7 years today, and I've had Mk IIb for almost exactly half of that time.
