People who park in front of my garage! Feckers. There's parking on the opposite side of the street! I'm sorely tempted to brick any car that's parked next time but knowing my luck it'd be who'd get done for it.

[LIFTED] low life [LIFTED]!
It would appear that my bank debit account has been hijacked. Only £18 has been taken so far, but that's £18 is money that I earned.
I've contacted Halifax last night about one labeled "HANDMADE MOBILE" who have taken £10 (two lots of £5 ). They have canceled my card and told me to ring the frauds department today. The frauds department game me the number of this company and told me to ring for a refund. The company rang me back saying they had cleared my details from their system and would refund me.
Just looked at my statement now and the same company have taken a further £3. "T-MOBILE" have taken £2, I've had no interaction with them at all...Also, I have two "OVERSEAS TRANSACTI", both valued at £1.50...
So, on top of that Faye is out in London for the weekend. My feeling somewhat lonelier than usual thought it might be nice to go see some friends in the café they work in, they make fantastic pizza and have the best tea and cakes in town. Knowing my card was locked, I transfered some money into our joint account, I had forgotten the PIN, but it was OK because Halifax posted it to me the other day (at the same time as they posted the PIN for the credit card I've just applied for with them). I dug them out of the "safe place", but had failed to label either of them. "No worries", I though, "you get a few attempts, and I just need two". Nope, neither of them worked.
So, I've got two useless cards and am stuck at home on my own, feeling crappy. Having just read CWs thread I feel very much like a moaning old sod.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I've been done three times for thousands and had it all refunded.

There are two companies that have managed to take credit from my wife's PAYG mobile just by sending her a text. The content of the text is just a garbled set of characters but Orange say it's up to the wife to contact them and cancel any çontract'.' My wife contacted Trading Standards and they have agreed for her to send a reply text trying to cancel to the number given - this wiped out all of her credit so now Trading Standards, Orange and my wife are locked in a battle with each other. Meanwhile, as soon as the wife puts credit on her mobile the two companies send her a text and it's wiped out within hours.

I had the same trouble years ago in Oz. Got subscribed to some premium service by an arsehole drunken friend. Sending STOP etc. didn't work, tried speaking to the company directly but was running around in circles wasting even more credit. Service provider said they couldn't block the number as no crime was being committed.
I changed provider and got a new number.

My mother phoned to tell me someone has hijacked my Dad's ID. They just received a £200 receipt for a Sat Nav they didn't order. She's spending most of today jumping through hoops, checking the bank accounts and credit cards; in case there are any other nasty surprises. And... My eleven year old nephew got mugged at the weekend - they stole the bike he got for christmas. Thieving b@astards. He's badly shaken but, thankfully, unhurt. 2012 is getting off to a cracking start.

2 Hours to get a PAC code, 2 days to transfer to a PAYG another day or 2 to get the PAC for PAYG 1-5 days to transfer to new contract
Why is leaving then rejoining a company so time consuming?

Everyone put your surprised hats on.
PC World cannot organise a chair in front of a table, metaphorically.
Bought a laser toner from them, they turned out cheapest for this model. Three different orders over a few weeks, the price shown did not change, but the amount we were charged was different each time... Now to shout at them to get our 30 quid back...

it irks me I can't make my facebook info say "studies" instead of "studied" because it's simply wrong to refer to my current course in the past tense.
