I can't build it for who knows how long as I don't have the space (but if I didn't buy it now it would probably work out at £400 later). Actually bought two because it also makes this

It had to be bought. What started off as me looking at a Technic fire plane, then a rescue copter, eventually led to that...

Stalker Predator
Image

Sadly it's from an earlier series where they didn't bother to paint the upper parts of the legs, possibly also making 'Stalker' Predator a bit of a sexual predator from the wrong angle...

ION, they continue to fcuk up Imgur at Microsoft levels of stupidity.

I went pound shop mental now that they do deliveries... a picture hanging kit, Frisps (mmm), Cadbury's hot chocolate cups and a load of other chocolate items, a full-on box of KP nuts since we have a dispenser in work, Double lollies, spray paint, a precision tool set, a raised socket that splits into three, masking and electrical tape, carpet scissors for taking apart giant-ass, taped all-around boxes (fcuk you, tiny recycling box), a bunch of long and short screwdrivers, a box to throw a lot of it in... Oh, and a hammer just because I wanted to see what a £1 hammer was actually like

And as you'd now expect, another Pred... This is the one from the original film.

Bit of a mixed bag this one. There's grammatical errors on the first few pages alone and the chapters lack focus, mentioning architectural concepts and styles it hasn't yet shown or defined. The instructions for building your own structures are a bit random - an old-skool art deco cinema, fair enough, but an airport watchtower? I'm gonna see if there's enough instructions to build my own little buildings of paradise (said cinema, library, particular architecture).

At least the pictures of others' models are well chosen, but so far I can't say the book does even one thing well. I'm gonna see if I can glean enough from it to justify keeping it.

Braun series 7-790cc shaver.
The shaver itself is brilliant. Best electric shave I think I've ever had. Shame the cleaning/charging station deely that came with it doesn't actually seem to do the cleaning bit. Looks like I'll be sending it in for repair/replacement.

I can definitely see this going back - went on to the official Lego website to find that not only are some of the prices for particular parts laughable, some of them just straight up aren't there or in stock. So, by the time you track down all the parts, you could've spent £50+ on something smaller than a mobile phone. For one model.

Oh yeah, and you have to keep clicking back to the previous page to select a new part. Well done Lego.

An LED rear light for an upcoming mountain bike, a lock and repair kit for same, some more LED lights and torches for around the house but also for lighting Predator figure photos :) , batteries, some Frisps, and a small plastic tool box - all good.

The stuff just hasn't arrived yet

Mountain bike, the inevitable Predators, a box of stuff from Poundland, t-shirts, and Coke knows what else...
