Somehow I don't think his blind spot was big enough to hide a train, he obviously wasn't paying attention.

Get in!

Dad's said he'll buy me a 50cc moped of some sort if I insure it and pay for my CBT.

Sweet! :D

You realise it would be cheaper for you to buy the moped and the CBT instead of insuring a vehicle

That's what I thought as well Fin

Buying new, from the like of Suzuki, used to get you some good deals on insurance, but it was cheaper for me to insure a Fireblade fully comp than a 17 year old on a scooter!

That said, girlfriend's daughter did her car test last year, the insurance bump on the car wasn't too bad - about 75€ a quarter - but she has to drive with either her mother or me in the car until she is 18...

You nearly lost me last night ! ( cut out the clapping and cheering ! )

Hit a sheet of water at speed , 2 x 360 pirouettes across both sides of a dual carriageway without hitting anything  6 or 7 other cars and a lorry were on the stretch of road at the time. 8-)

God knows how but other than a few extra grey hairs and lots of mud on the car all it needs is a new tyre :?

Phew! That water can be nasty stuff - it worries me that so many people seem oblivious to it when driving in pouring rain at high speed (not you, necessarily).

L'Atomo di Forza has been standing on the drive for the past four days. It's been a bit damp hereabouts, and this morning the steering wheel was covered in all that nasty sticky dirt we humans tend to leave and not notice - until it's damp. :o

I admit I was going too fast for the conditions, wanted to over take the lorry and it was the last chance for several miles. the description idiot comes to me.

How many times do you need to bail the tech director out before people realise he can't do his job?

I've got a squash game straight after work tonight and I've just chomped my way through a suet jam roly-poly and custard.... probably not the best idea I’ve had in a while
