Shaman Predator (hard to find a pic that does it justice, looks amazing up close)
Image

Cloaked City Hunter Predator (don't know whether I'm keeping this or not, it's staying in it's box meantime since it's already worth more than I paid)
Image

Some t-shirts that finally arrived (you can guess what Ripley's saying there)
Image

And since I find myself having to write things down before I forget...
Image

Also bought a Digitiser t-shirt ( :D , see Gaming thread).

A mountain bike (ordered a new seat for my fat arse)
Image

Some bike lights
Image

The inevitable Predator figures...

Jungle Extraction Dutch
Image

Falconer (looks a bit ropey up close... I'll decide whether to sell or display come having the space!)
Image

Jungle Hunter (not convinced by this for display purposes either, plus I own the previous version, but it's value only ever goes up, so...)
Image

Ahab (don't really like the mask, but it's removable)
Image

Big Red (Brilliant figure, but I got it second-hand... the wrist blades and legs don't stay in position all the time. Really gonna have to get back to the seller :( )
Image

Snake (that's the thing with these figures, they either look far better/worse IRL. This is better)
Image

It's as big as the picture suggests, though once it's on the bike it isn't so imposing. Beats walking like John Wayne afterwards. Can't recommend enough if you or your bike are large lol. Though you shouldn't call her that etc ;)

They're not toys, they're collectible figurines! Etc ;) ;) ;)

They mostly appreciate in value, even out of the box. And you're rarely too old for anything. I buy them because I like the aesthetics of them. For instance, I don't drive and have no interest in cars short of technological progress, but I love the design of the Bugatti Veyron. There are just certain things that look impressive to me personally.

I rarely look at art, even comic book art, and see what the fuss is. I lean more towards the technical details when it comes to design.

If I were not married with children I'd have a room full of 'Masterpiece' Transformers so I have no right to criticise ;)

As it is I have an original Masterpiece Prime (MP-01 imported from the USA) plus a Prime G1 re-issue a Starscream G1 re-issue, and Smokescreen and Swindle Alternators/BinalTech. They were bought 5-6 years ago before kids and the boxes (and probably the figures) have suffered since as I'm more of a player than a collector!

The Predator has one of the worst head sculpts ever (though not as bad IRL as that pic), but I might as well add him to the collection of 'Jungle Hunters'. What I really wanted was the Alien and I got the set much cheaper from a Russian seller on eBay. Amazingly it looks to be the real deal.

And for £2.61 delivered

Even Paul WS Anderson couldn't make a truly bad film with these characters. No, that was the sequel...
