Things are going... OK at the moment. You'd have noticed that after 23 years I have walked away from the wonderful world of IT, and am now working as a college lecturer which, aside from the 70% pay cut I had to take, is actually quite good.
Apart from that, pretty much the same as ever, thanks.

When I started working in IT I always said that if it ever stopped being fun I'd stop doing it, as it started out as a hobby, and I didn't want to "not like" doing IT any more. Basically, I didn't like the way that the IT trade has been going, and I'd simply had enough of working for IT managers who know nothing about IT. Ta, unfortunately I've just been informed I can't get access to the office until Friday, earliest, so I imagine so clean-up work is going to have to take place over the weekend.  Just been sent a picture from around the corner.
