I've been laughing my head off. Missed the first bit and I'm currently watchin it on 4+1. Surprised no one has made any lewd remarks towards Rachel.

I'm a big fan of ELO, and the work of Jeff Lynne. I managed to miss the Jeff Lynne Story when it was shown on BBC4 a while back. :(

Caz sent me a DVD copy of it. What a star! I've managed to find an hour to sit and watch. Carolyn asked me to review it. Here are my thoughts.

I have always known Jeff was a hugely talented song writer, musician, singer and producer. I knew he'd worked with the Beatles, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Bee Gees and many more. What I found most interesting is that despite being hugely respected in his professional career, Jeff still comes across as the guy next door. He's just an ordinary bloke from Brum, who loves to make noise, preferably with mates, but who happens to live in a huge mansion in LA. He's not allowed the fame and fortune to overwhelm him.

I think I respect him even more now. Rock on, Jeff!

I loved that he could barely sit down sometimes for musical equipment :D

Glad you enjoyed it Heather :)

I'm going to watch it again soon. It's the sort of program I could quite happily watch again and again. And I agree what a lovely man and an amazing musician.

A Dexter spinoff show is a possibility, according to Showtime president David Nevins:
