Morning.
Bad day yesterday. The old black dog was lurking, and I found it hard to give him the elbow.
I decided I can't afford to make the stand as a parliamentary candidate at the next election. That was the toughest decision this year, because it's something I've wanted to do for some while now. I just can't afford to stump up the deposit, or fund a campaign. So, I shall heckle from the sidelines instead.
Today, I'm out job hunting. I need to get some income flowing while Britstock Photo builds the momentum.
Life can be a real beach sometimes.

Morning all.
Day off to wait in for a BT Openreach engineer to hopefully fix my phone line.
Thing is, I've just checked the on the BT website and it says the engineer tried to call this morning but couldn't gain access to the property. This is patently bullsh!t as I've been in all morning and I was up at 6:30. I'm pretty damn sure I would have heard him. Phone to the BT faults line says the job is still open.
We shall see.
Plus I've now also go the landlords gas engineer coming to do the annual safety test. Last year he disconnected the gas fire at about the same time of year. Not what you need in the winter/early spring. Hopefully there will not be a repeat this year.

Morning All, Expo 2010 is in ShangHai this year and has totally @rsed up my ability to get seats on planes between the UK and Hong Kong in March  I spent yesterday doing some pretty creative footwork to organise 3 business trips and finally managed to get a (pretty costly) solution to the problem. It's friday!! Half-day today and I'm ready to leave, shame I've got to wait another 2 hours eh? We're driving to Bracknell to stay with some friends, then on to my folks for the rest of the weekend. My mum is currently trying to get me to take up our only free weekend in March by going to them for Mothers Day, but we're not going. Home puter was playing silly buggers last night and the UPS at work didn't kick in when we had power cuts during the night resulting in none of the servers working. Only just got tinternet working so I'm catching up on some CS4 tutorials before I have to buckle down and do some work (hopefully not until lunchtime).
Bought a battery grip for my new camera last night for a very reasonable price. Now I need to source a hand strap as the digits are not functioning properly (yet). Oh well, sideways.......
