LOL! Just watching the race on iPlayer Just heard the best radio comment from Rob Smedley... "Heh, half a second quicker with a broken front wing. Looks like we found our solution." LOL!

Just watched the race yesterday (been away for long weekend), probably the most boring racing in a long time. Ended up watch most of it on 6x speed... Shame about Lewis on the final stage but those tyres must have been pretty shagged by that point so always going to be a risk imo.

They said Lewis is quite heavy on his tyres earlier in the commentary!
Was very funny when Massa went quicker with a broken wing. Engineers must be WTF.

Just one word - boring. I hope the rest of the European races aren't like this. Bring on random water sprinklers

Just watched the qualifying. Quite good. Some stunning lap times from Kubica. Did anyone else notice the iPad in Jake's hands?

Robert Kubica was on fire, shame he missed out on pole. Massa was out of order in Q3, slowing up to find space for a run with Button on a flyer just behind him..... tw*t

Ummm, not much to say about that race apart from Mark Webber being in a class of his own, Michael Schumacher was a bit cheeky at the end tasking 6th place off Fernando Alonso but we’ll see if that holds up after the stewards have had a look (I hope it does personally).

At least the worst track of the season is out of the way.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

What?! You must've been watching a different race from the one I was. Alonso was awesome (OK, he had easy pickings) working his way through the back markers. Some huge crashes. Barrichello should've been fined for throwing his steering wheel into the path of another car. I was surprised nothing more was mentioned about that.

+1 for that. However four safety cars is too much, leave the rolling starts for the yanks and do away with unsuitable street circuits.

http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/ ... 10799.htmlYou won't like that Although the rules quite clearly set out what happens in this situation. Hmm... thinking about it, I wonder if the rules state that if the race finishes with SCD then does the "Safety Car in this lap" message get passed to all teams as though it's a normal Safety Car in lap?!

Yup and that’s what’s caused all the confusion, was it in or out? Mercedes to appeal (I should have known the outcome with Hill on the Stewards panel).

I don't think the rules are that clear. Also in the replay you can see a marshall waving a green flag up the road from Schumacher and Alonso.

I Hope Schummie gets his wrists slapped, sorry don't like the guy but I suspect he is correct. Hill will be enjoying himself that's for sure.

He got a 20 second penalty that's quite a slapping as all the cars were bunched up thanks to the safety car and as a result his now finished 12th, I still think it was wrong but haho that’s Formula 1.... clear as mud. Alonso is a smirky git imo, a rule bender to the extreme what with throwing his toys out of the pram when driving for Maclean and then denying any involvement in the Renault fixing scandal (right!).... . . . . . . . .
