It would be nice to be able to name and shame the writer.

Ah so that's that it was, couldn't work it out from the 14" at the other end of the room. Glad I didn't see it now and also dislike the next weeks trailer crap they put on as well.

Indeed! What tool thought that would be a good idea? The desperation they show in trying to keep you watching the BBbloodyC ! As if any sane, self-respecting person wants to watch crap like Over The Rainbow!!

In other news: a great episode and a real step up in quality from the last three. A shame that the "Next Time" bit at the end shows about half of the next episode.

Wow!

Really good episode! Possibly the best one yet!

Those angels are freaking scary even without putting them in an environment where the lights flicker off all the time!

I think that they must be one of the perfect scary monsters. Gone and none existent when you can see them but lightning quick and deadly when you can't! It's the embodiment of every childhood nightmare!

This whole business of ads popping up all over the screen, ticker tape at the bottom... it drives me mental. Who wants that sh1t towards the end of a story, even a documentary.

You'd have thought the BBC would have had the sense to ignore their rivals in that sense. The BBC shouldn't be chasing ratings anyway :x

The other one that gets me is some prat talking over the song/theme tune on the credits - why go to all the trouble of recording/licensing it in the first place?

Mind you, at least it isn't the Channel 4 Geordie parodying himself

I hate the way that the commercial channels do it as well. Scrunching up the credits to the side so that they are unreadable so if you want to see who played what character you are stuffed. Though for the commercial channels the alternative is to play them instead of adverts. Though why do the BBC need to do this?

I think the doctor’s character has started to flesh out in this one. He stopped being a cartoon character for me.

BBC appears to be apologising for it:

I was one of the complainers, BTW.

My PS3 now displays a very annoying time progression clock in the bottom left when using iPlayer; is this standard across other devices now?

It's next to pointless and often catches your eye when trying to focus on a show
