Just had a look at the cinema listings. It's all kids films (which makes sense), horror movies with a combined budget of £7.50, and Roland Emmerich destroying the world. Again.

Hmm. Two blokes in a Virgin van have arrived, and decided that they don't like the look of our block paved area. Best Beloved is in discussions at the moment, but it kind of looks like they will have to move the main terminal, which is another delay I hadn't bargained for. Yep. Got to wait for a decision further up the food chain about moving their termination. Arse.

Ordered the missus for Xmas: Benidorm - The Special DVD Animal T-Shirt Pink Animal Socks Blue and I'm taking her tonight to pick out a Bonsai tree She's not getting a lot this year (she's due to be 'getting' a baby on the 26th Dec!) but apart from the Bonsai I wanted something special - not costing a fortune - and I'm running out of ideas

Oh joy. As if I weren't busy enough, I've just had a call come in... A user has spilt coffee on her laptop and now it doesn't work. No sh*t sherlock. I'm now contemplating whether to leave it in the comms room for 2 or 3 days to see if it'll dry out and "miraculously" come back to life. I suppose I should start building a replacement... just in case

Sodding snooker overran on Saturday night, pushing the schedule out for the rest of the evening. I was hoping it would still be on iPlayer, but it seems the extended edition of HIGNFY was simply dropped altogether. Thanks, BBC. Incidentally, I had the misfortune to catch some of The Thick Of It. I don't know why they bothered with a script. It appeared to be half an hour of continual cursing. Effing effers, effing effs effing effed eff. If that's the level of "humour" and "well written, sharp scripting" that I thought this show was supposed to exhibit, I am glad I've never bothered to watch it before. Effers.

Some twat has cloned my GF's credit card so she has to hang about for a replacement. Nice timing.
Weird thing was they'd tried to make 2 charitable donations.
Guilty conscience?

Tester payments, unlikely to get checked by a card company, happened to me before they went out buying mobile phone airtime vouchers

Actually I think tester payments may have happened a week or two ago, she got a random phonecall from the CC then but no mention of anything out of order. Turns out they also tried to get something from 3 and a plane flight along with the charity donations. Not sure how a plane flight would work if you're in the UK, perhaps they're in the States... Who knows, tossers were blocked anyways. It happened to me several years ago, somebody was trying to buy a meal in Tokyo and an hour later some jewellery in South Africa It would be nice if the Credit Card companies took security as seriously as we do, although to be fair both the time it happened with me and now with the GF they have blocked them straight away.

Barclaycard & Egg are always on the ball with me. Barclaycard called when HMV put my order of 15 £3 HDDVD's through 1 at a time & Egg alled when I was on holiday in the States, when a ticket agent put something through 3 times by mistake & someone tried opening a Yahoo wallet with my card.

After much screaming the little one went to bed. Early as well. Poor little fella has almost all his teeth coming through at the same time (his mouth is like a piranha at the moment) & he's tired after bing ill for a few days & finaly going back to nursary.
Time for a beer, catch up on some invoicing & maybe some dinner.

Don't you think he's a little young for all that? I'd let him concentrate on getting those teeth through before introducing him to invoicing.
