For those of us whose coding ability is founded in BASIC, wtf does it do/mean?

5hittystink are the worst courier company out there. And they have some very stiff competition. The most annoying thing for me is that you always end up having to collect from their depot and the nearest one to me is 35 miles away.

In all honesty, I've had worse from other couriers. UPS have left parcels with neighbours (round here, the neighbours will steal your stuff). Fedex have left it at the post office which is crap as it is only open 9-5 and I leave for work by 8 and don't get home till after 7. Hdnl were just unreliable and things sometimes never arrived. Royal mail up until the last few months were excellent and the depot is only round the the corner. City link have also been reliable and have always left a card AND often visit on the way back to the depot.

I guess it depends on the driver. IME all courier companies suck and city link are the least reliable on a personal level. Business wise, ups have cost me thousands. I hate them all. We used to have an Amtrak depot in town which was great (I think they are/were a franchise), but they closed down.

Sorry. It's the close window button from my desktop theme. It's this XPM image: You combine it with the transparent overlay PNG ... to produce The XPM is supposed to be a simple matte image which uses system calls to decide what colours to display. That means that it corresponds to the desktop theme. However it's supposed to look crap. The way you make it look good is to overlay gradients with the PNG. The problem is that the makers of this particular theme have put the fancy stuff in what's supposed to be the basic image and that's stopped it working properly.

Fortunately they've moved their deport from Grantham to Peterborough so the depot is basically just down the road from my house but it's the principle of the thing.

We have just re-registered with TPS last week, for the third time in ten years, as it seems to be less effective over time; and we are now getting two or three of these calls every evening. Each time we've registered, the numbers of these calls have reduced. I'll report back in a few weeks, once it has kicked in. For the moment, when they ring, I just leave the handset on the side and let them pay for the full call, rather than hang up immediately.

Oooo I know, that sounds like a magical idea. Let's post a video about Fedora Linux...
...that requires Flash [/facepalm]

F**k. Just f**king, F**k! I had to go out, just as Scotland V France was getting ready to kick off. Fair enough, I thought, I'll catch it on iPlayer. I should have recorded it, I know. So, no radio on in the car, CDs only. I carefully avoid all TV sets or anything that will tell me the score. I get home - no link on iPlayer yet, but I keep the page open so I can refresh every now and again. The phone rings. It's a mate asking for advice on his daughter's laptop, then he pipes up with "too bad about Scotland v France, mate. 17 - 23, bummer. Still, they played well." Gaaah! You can guess my response. Jim, can I borrow your Tzar Bomba?
