You thought that too? She seemed to be totally out of place in Poldark - she looked too, well, modern. By that I mean facial structure and makeup - just felt at odds with the rest of the cast.

Yes. As you say, facial structure and make-up are the give-aways. It made me think, either low budget or the make-up artist didn't do their job properly. The lipstick is garish in that "surrounding" for a start.

That isn't to say she doesn't look good, just that the make-up and face don't pass to "Poldark".
