Ordered from a website called Geekbuying who checked out initially but, no joke, got worse by the day* - luckily I paid with Paypal who refunded me * It's now one of those 'Chinese, really, sites' that sells cheap/fake versions of genuine products.

Just deployed the following whilst attempting to talk to my very interrupting boss:
"Oh I'm sorry - did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?"

Broke the power supply to the cats drinking fountain. The company doesn't sell them as spare parts but they are sending me one free of charge #win

The graphics card in the kids' PC started blue screening and died. I stripped off the cooler and stuffed the PCB in the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes, let it cool, re-timmed and reassembled it and it's working perfectly.

Well, kinda... Amazon runs like a dead dog in FF recently, and I'm not the only one experiencing it. I tried EVERYTHING before, NoScript, safe mode, killing extensions, wiping history...
Installed YesScript and blacklisted Amazon from running javascript. Did feck all. Out of desperation, I blocked everything but the site itself with NoScript (I'd tried this initially) and now I don't get images from any link on the homepage, but the rest of it works as expected so far.
I don't know what the fcuk Amazon are doing, but this only happens on their site.

I use Amazon and Firefox together on my work PC and haven't experienced any of the issues you have with it. (8+\
