Blade Runner: The Final Cut is on BBC2, 9pm (here at least, probably the same in the rest of the UK though) for those with an interest :)

I just found a "to do list" from December 2001.

Out of the 20 things on it, I've only done 2

I'd actually forgotten that some of them still need doing

I watched. It's a great film. The other half didn't appreciate it and went upstairs to watch something rubbish instead after 15 minutes.

That's good.

It's just a shame the process of snow melting leaves the place even more dank and depressing than usual.

It's the greyness of the slush you know? How come it can't be the pretty colours I see in those machines in some shops??? Mind you - pink :o

Just heard from my GF that the Amsterdam - Newcastle connection has been canceled so she won't be home tonight.

The weird thing is there's nothing on either airport website saying this. Fortunately she's booked on a Amsterdam - London flight tomorrow and can go back to her gran's as she hasn't started the first leg of her journey.

I'm sorry, but hang on, wait, what, oh yeah, it's the 21st frakking century and we can't even deal with a bit of snow and ice!

Jumped up monkeys we are.

Just spoke to the GF, looks like they're canceling all flights for people going through Schiphol to try and clear the backlog. Hopefully, she'll be on her way in the morning.

Dag nam it, I mean she left her present to me at her work so I wouldn't have a look at it while she was gone (like I would  ) and at this rate that's where it's going to be on Christmas Day. :D

Why not get the ferry from/to Shields then?
