How long I should leave it before I follow up a job application to see if they're wasting my time as well as theirs.

Not an ideal thing to be preoccupied with. What's on mind is why would Heather wanna work for somebody else.

It might not be ideal, but sometimes needs must. Heather would like some income, and sometimes the only way to get a reliable one is to work for someone else. ;)

One of the sadder fundamental truths of capitalism. Good luck!

How much I hate the project I am on at the minute, it's a prime example of how NOT to do a project, every aspect has failed, then I join and am expected to fix it all

Cookies! That's it! I tell you whats' on my mind right now. Why is it when you buy those big cookies in the bags from supermarkets, they're always doughy and under-cooked, rather than crisp like biscuits should be? Why do they ALL do them like that? It's not a mistake 'cos they're always like that, it's patently how they all think they should be. Who likes their cookies all gooey and not cooked properly?

Jon
