That is great that you have let us all know, we feel for you. But don't worry, as the Xmas is coming I have a solution: I will buy the song for you and I will give it to you as a gift. http://www.7digital.com/help/item?category=7#363How awesome am I? What do you say? Shall I buy it for you?

I doubt Caz was after sympathy, just explaining that in the real world plenty of us can't afford frivolous expenses.

Well what do you know, 50p is classed as frivolous EXPENSE Anyway, enough of that banter, some of you will hate me soon if I don't stop messing with you An update for those who care (which is a minority of people in this thread ) http://www.nme.com/news/rage-against-the-machine/48927

This an actual video of that very performance, a song performed with passion by real musicians: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUGeoJtTnZQ#

Of course it is. That's half a loaf of bread, or half a litre of fuel. Not the sort of money you throw away on rubbish pop music.

You buy expensive bread A 400gm Tiger Loaf is 50p, but an 800gm white sliced is 47p. A tin of beans is 19p, and a litre of pure orange is 37p. For the price of 3 tracks, I could buy enough food to feed me well for 3 days. I worked out a while back that after I've paid my bills I actually pocket about 50p an hour, so to me 50p spending money represents one hour's hard graft. Some people don't know they're bloody born, grumble grumble...

It may well have been performed with passion, but if the BBC had told them not to because it breached their license/regs then they shouldn't have, and if they couldn't perform it without swearing (not passion) then they shouldn't have accepted the beeb's invitation. Was a damn good performance, just not appropriate at all.

400gm is the small loaf, and that's Asda price. I think it was actually "2 for a pound". The 800gm loaf is £1.10 there too. But that's posh bread. I only have it for special occasions

I have always found cheap bread is best for hot buttered toast, especially when you want loads mmmmmmm Though nowdays we tend to make our own in the breadmaker. Its great with the timerset so that we wake up to warm fresh bread mmmmmmmmmmm Back On topic, the BBC was naive and just plain stupid, they should of used some stock footage.

Trying going just before they close. Before Tesco started opening 24 hours, my dad used to go in just before closing and bring home loads of cheap bread (and freeze it) .

So, when do the polls close on this? End of Saturday? Sunday? When Cowell moves his bowel?
