Bloody hell this is all getting complicated. I want to keep my current o2 Simplicity contract so which do I need to order, the Pay&Go or the SIM free? Why the carriers are making this so difficult I don't know. (8+/

I'm seriously considering it but I just can't bring myself to until I see what O2 are charging as an upgrade. Plus it seems you can't pre-order the white one .

Either would do although you'll have to ask O2 to send you a micro-sim which means registering your interest now would be a good thing (the page suggests they'll send you a micro-sim just for doing that) even if you don't plan to take one as an upgrade.

According to the o2 shop I just went in to, you can either order off Apple's website or buy the PAYG, it won't matter. They will then move your contract over to the microSIM

I can't see any PAYG option on Apple's site. Just the option to pre-order SIM free.

No 32GB's available for reservation at any Apple stores near me.
Dammit. Time to see what the operators do.

I can only assume that the 8GB 3Gs is priced that way it is (£419)to push people into getting the iPhone 4.

You might want to check other sites, too. I have had an offer of £205 for my 3G 16GB - o2 only offer £173 for it.
