Looks like I might not be buying a new car (at least I'm not having to spend a load of money I would rather not) Car failed the MOT on the driver side ball joint being heavily worn, needs a new passenger side bulb and the lights need adjusting Only £100ish in repairs inc labour so getting it fixed & retested tomorrow

Still cheaper than a new car... Gives you time to save for next year, instead of taking out a large loan...

I broke our new E-Payables invoice approvals system. On my first use I managed to create an error that the MIS Gods have never seen before, and have only been able to re-create under a specific set of circumstances, they haven't been able to fix it yet either and have started calling it "The Amy Error" I've got a System Error named after me

Yeah, downide is it needs a service soon also which will probably be pretty pricey (although it should just be an oil change etc), and it's a very (for me anyway) early start tomorrow as I need to drop off the car at 8am so leave the house at 7am

England to host the RWC in 2015 and Japan in 2019. Seems a sensible decision, or at least more so than the 2011 one...

Aye, as it's WRC for the rallying, non, and they race across the globe round-by-round?

It's why I was getting a bit confused why the rally would only be in one country!

I just opened a packet of fish, which let off an extremely pungent smell, probably due to it not being refrigerated in transit. I have sent it back to the retailer, by second class post, so I feel very sorry for the person who opens it next week!
Peter.

http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/c ... d=19100263Hmm, that might be considered filth. Depends on how you've packaged it, I suppose, but I'd imagine the Royal Mail might be a little upset with you for sending it.

It is completely sealed up and securely packaged up, so it won't smell whilst in transit. I could send it first class, but it'll be nice to let it rest in a hot sorting office for a while. It's the only way for the retailer to realise how carefully they need to look after their fish in transit! Peter.
