Bunch of [expletive deleted]! And their fibdem lackeys! To think I voted for Clegg and his bunch of hypocrites.

I wonder when we're going to rise up and turn on them. Actually, I think the population as a whole is being so cowed by the whole austerity shenanigans we daren't raise our voices for fear of being picked on next. Welcome to Victorian Britain 2.0.

I am surprised that we haven't had the notion of workhouses being raised. The unemployed and sick can quite easily be housed in one while they work their way out of their situation. If you can knit, you can sew mail bags.

I'm expecting debtors' gaols to appear next, though it seems that being in debt is now in the national interest, so maybe we need gaols to house those people with savings that exceed their debts, charging a sum for accommodation until the imbalance is redressed.

And, Hev, expect hulks in the Thames estury housing convicts.

Come on, your lot had 13 years and arsed it up, give us a chance now!

Sorry Heather, didn't realise your post was quoted too. Tapatalk only shows the last quote on a thread. I personally wasn't sure which way to go between lib dem and tory, so I actually got the outcome I was hoping for!

Using a posting trick/glitch to spam the hell out of the 24hr Thread to a point where the server crashed out iirc.

24hr Thread being a 24 hour spamathon. Used to start at 22:00 on the 19th day of Feb/May/Aug/Nov. :P

We've not had a 24hr thread for donkeys...And according to Matts post, we've just missed the official Feb one

Was there any particular reason for not having one since the last?

I misunderstood that. I was wondering why these dogs preferred their balls to be under water.

I hate English. Obviously there should be some kind of grammatical error with your wording akin to "eat, [LIFTED] and die" but I can't see how to fix it without using totally different words such as "retrieve their balls".

Personally I think both "dogs trying to get their balls back; under water" and "dogs trying to get their balls back - under water" would be acceptable. :|

Actually, I've got it. I prefer "Dogs underwater, trying to get their balls back" or "Underwater dogs trying to get their balls back"

It doesn't help that balls and back have multiple meanings, although the context is fairly clear once rearranged.

Technically neither of those works; the use of the semi-colon is particularly jarring to my eyes.

A better solution IMO would be to say:
Quote:
dogs trying to get their balls back from under water
