One of my contacts, neither a friend nor an enemy, has phoned me over 500 times in the last 24 hours. I have ignored all of his calls, but he has ignored all of my texts too. Very strange. Peter.

My colleagues are quite scared of me now I was making a spreadsheet to help out my Dad, who runs the local tennis club. He wanted an organised way, without the obvious database, of containing junior memberships at the club. The spreadsheet was called "Under 12s" and contained names, addresses and telephone numbers of hundreds of local children. Peter.

I hope you all realise that this spreadsheet was a genuine membership list? It just looked a bit suspect if you didn't know Peter.

Just about finished stage 1 of my first windows mobile app. So the main page is finished Still need to: Sort out the posting/receiving of the request Sort it into something useful Change button contexts after that Add a custom text entry box Then on to the test phase (Anyone want to test it? Needs a touch screen windows mobile 6.1 phone with a VGA/WVGA resolution)

I might as well. As long as it doesn't download craploads of scat onto my mobile. I've got a XDA Zest, which is WM6.1 and has a VGA screen.

very little bandwidth is needed, each request you make only sends a http request and receives back an xml document, I'll put stuff in so you can limit the searches if you want. It should be done by this weekend so if I figure out how I'll make a cab installer, if not the exe should do it, I'll test it on mine first (you can use wifi if you don't want to use 3g/hsdpa)

I think that rules out the Omnia then? I'm fairly sure the resolution isn't that good... but I don't mind testing if the phone's up to it.

We just had a pigeon fly through the window into the "computer room". The management haven't seen the need to install AC in the room, until now... Even though it is rarely below 30°C during the day time, with the window open and fans on! I could probably give it a go...
